Black Calceo are clear bodied and has black coloration on top of its body. The black part of its body almost resembles a zebra type pattern. It is unclear how black calceo were bred due to breeder wanting to keep it a secret. 

When acclimating Black Calceo, it is extremely important to acclimate them slowly. These are more sensitive than other shrimps and require more care. Calceo Bees also breeds at a slower pace than most shrimps so be patient and the efforts will make it worth while (:

Black Calceo are intermediate to care for as they require remineralized RO water. When using fertilizer, make sure it does not contain copper as it is harmful to the shrimp’s health.
