Black Pintos are one of the most common and popular pintos offered in the market. From Spotted Head Pinto to Zebra Pinto. They make great shrimps for projects and creating hybrids. There are some many different types of Pintos that each one has its own grading scale.

Black Pinto are the outcome of intensive breeding between tiger shrimp and taiwan bee until they get to the pattern of zebra, pot belly, or spotted head. the color consist of black, white, and sometimes blue on its body. 

Black Pinto are easy to care for as they require remineralized RO water. When using fertilizer, make sure it does not contain copper as it is harmful to the shrimp’s health.

The shrimps you will receive will be juvies to sub adults which translate to 0.47 to 0.60 inches (1.2cm to 1.5cm).
