    DESCRIPTION

    Scientific Name: Caridina Babaulti
    Common Name: Zebra Babaulti
Fully Grown Size: 1.6 inches (4cm)

Zebra Babaultis originate from India and certain parts of Asia. These oddballs are rarely offered in the US market making them quite unique. These shrimps can be kept with Caridinas and Neocaridinas without the risk of crossbreeding. These shrimps may look faded in their juvie stage of life but once they are adults, their color and pattern will really stand out.

These are tank-bred and can be easily breed with minimum effort needed.

These are popular among the shrimp hobby and are great for people getting into the hobby. A general rule of thumb of keeping shrimps is 10 shrimps per gallon. Zebra Babaultis are non-aggressive and spend most of their time eating algae and biofilm off plants, glass, and substrate. They make excellent oddballs for an aquascape tank.

Zebra Babaultis are easy to care for as they require remineralized RO water or tap. If you are using tap, keep in mind to check for any harmful metals or chemicals in the water as all tap water is different and some aren't safe to use. When using fertilizer, make sure it does not contain copper as it is harmful to the shrimp’s health.

The shrimps you will receive will be juvies to sub adults which translate to 1.2cm to 2.3cm.

    We guarantee live arrivals 100%.

Although it's rare that shrimps will arrive DOA, it does occur due to the process of shipping and the amount of stress it puts on the shrimps so we always recommend overnight shipping. In an event of an DOA, a refund or reshipment will be issued for only the DOA (not including the shipping cost).

    To Claim DOA:

    1. You must send a picture of the DOA in an unopened bag with 2 hours of delivery to hello@billyboiaquatics.com.
    2. Send an additional picture of the DOA outside of the bag, clear enough to count if more than one.

    All thriving! Even have babies

Was a little worried at first, they were pretty cold when I first received them and not moving much. Soon after I began the acclimation process they was hopping all around though! To my surprise, they even added an extra! I received 4 males and 2 females and within 4/5 weeks of receiving they already started breeding and laying eggs! Very happy with my purchase. They’re very beautiful and such a joy to watch and so easy to take care of and breed!

Shrimp arrived in perfect health and are thriving 3 weeks later. FedEx messed up the first shipment and BB was on the ball with communicating and sending out a new shipment. will definitely order again.

    Love them!

All arrived quickly, healthy, and alive. I even got an extra one. Great care, packaging, and shipping choices on seller's part. Will buy again. My babaulti seem pretty shy and hide/camouflage well in our planted tank, I only see 1 or 2 out of 10 in a day. But they are still my favorite.

    Decent

Very cute shrimps! Several arrived deceased but I was given a shop credit for this. One arrived with red eyes and a head put on sideways. Is it what I ordered? No, but I love them very much. Their name is Lamictal, because taking that medicine made my eyes red.
