    DESCRIPTION

    Description:
    Scientific Name: Caridina cantonensis
    Fully Grown Size: 1.2 inches (3.81cm)

    Red Pinto is the outcome of intensive breeding between Tiger shrimp and Taiwan bee until they get to to the pattern of the pinto. The color consists of ruby red and white with varies patterns from zebra to spotted head. 

    These shrimp are easy to intermediate to care for as they require remineralized RO water and cool temperatures that does not exceed 75F degree.

    The shrimps you will receive will be juvies to sub adults which translate to 0.47 to 0.60 inches (1.2cm to 1.5cm).

    Although it's rare that shrimps will arrive DOA, it does occur due to the process of shipping and the amount of stress it puts on the shrimps so we always recommend overnight shipping. In an event of an DOA, a refund or reshipment will be issued for only the DOA (not including the shipping cost).

    To Claim DOA: 

    1. You must send a picture of the DOA in an unopened bag with 2 hours of delivery to hello@billyboiaquatics.com.
    2. Send an additional picture of the DOA outside of the bag, clear enough to count if more than one.

    Live even after 4 days

    Shrimp was packaged meticulously compared to previous vendors. Even after 4 days in the cold weather. The shrimp arrived healthy and lively. Still doing well to this day. Great job. Will definitely buy from here again.

    Awesome package. I put all 35 shrimps together in the 40 breeder. Lost 5 because the tank wasn’t cycled 100%. But now the shrimps looking good and get bigger. I may needed more red fancy tigers.

    Let me begin by saying, "I very rarely take the time to write a review, period". If I like your product, and as a business owner or company, I will continue to do business with you. If not, you may ensnare some of my dollars on a initial first run, but never ever again on a 2nd.

    That being said, this is the first time that I have purchased anything from Billy Boi's Aquatics. And I would be remiss, if I did not say that the experience was nothing other than exemplary!

    You should also be advised that I have been in the aquarium hobby since I was a little pup, and specifically the shrimp hobby for over 12 years. Over the years, I have had my share of misfortunes of losing many shrimp through my own ignorance while learning through experience and shared knowledge.

    I purchased not only the Red Pinto Shrimp which came in with striking markings, but also, blue bolts, a deep blue bolt or blue bolt Extreme, Black King Kongs, a Black King Kong Extreme, and Red King Kongs.

    Although, there were three that ended up as DOA's, what I can tell you from the Billy Boi purchase experience as well as correspondence with him of my DOA's, that Billy Boi is not only very proficient in the husbandry of these animals, but also deeply cares for the health, well being, and their safety in the shipment and arrival to their designated destination upon purchase.

    Not only am I a very pleased patron, but a lifelong one as well and look forward to doing business with Billy Boi again in the not too distant future!

    Incredible Shrimp!

    Ordered 10 of these along with some other shrimp, they all showed up alive and well and are all incredibly beautiful shrimp!! They also only took 2 days to arrive which I was also super happy about. Thank you so much!! 😀
